Friendly Sales & Quality Service for 40 Years

In 1978 Fred and Louise Hildebrand purchased a small lawn mower repair shop from Homer George and named it Hildebrand's Mowers & Saws. Then just seven short years later Fred and Louise's son Chip and his wife Cathy purchased the business and set it on the successful road that made it what it is today.

The Lord has blessed us and we've come a long way from selling chainsaws out of a catalog in a one room repair shop. We've moved to a bigger location and added a few new faces to the business. But one thing we refuse to change is the small time feel, and the friendly service we try to give each customer who walks through our door.

Robert "Butch" Conrad served Hildebrand’s Mowers & Saws for over 41 years, starting by catching a ride to work with his Uncle Ralph when he was only 14 years old. Our business would not be what it is without his dedication and his wealth of knowledge. The loss to our business is difficult but the loss of our friend is truly devastating. Butch will be forever missed and constantly remembered by all who knew him.

On December 19, 2019, our founder, our leader, and our inspiration, Fred Hildebrand went home to be with the Lord. Fred was a staple to the business whether it was greeting customers with a smile from his chair behind the counter, or with the shine he liked to put on all the new equipment. "Pap" enjoyed spending time with his Son and Grandsons here as well as conversing with all of the customers that came threw the doors of the business. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
